About Brno

Welcome to Brno

We are delighted to host Masterclass 2026 in Brno, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic and a thriving hub of science, innovation, and culture. Nestled in the picturesque region of South Moravia, Brno offers the perfect balance of rich history, modern infrastructure, and a lively, youthful atmosphere.

Brno is home to several prestigious universities and research institutions, making it a dynamic center for academic and scientific exchange. The city is known for its architectural gems, including the functionalist Villa Tugendhat (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the medieval Špilberk Castle, and the striking Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul.

Beyond its historical and intellectual charm, Brno boasts a café culture, excellent restaurants, and a renowned wine region just a short drive away. With its walkable city center, reliable public transport, and welcoming atmosphere, Brno provides an ideal setting for both productive discussions and memorable experiences.

We look forward to welcoming you to Brno!
